Emma + Nick: A Meridian Idaho Winter Wedding

It's no secret that Idaho weather is UNPREDICTABLE, and can make wedding planning tough. We worried all week about wind and rain, but on Emma + Nick's March wedding day, we had mostly clear skies and almost 60 degree weather. It was truly a perfect day!

Emma + Nick's wedding day began with an intimate ceremony at the Meridian temple performed by Nick's grandfather. We headed straight into family + bridal party portraits after the sealing. Emma + Nick planned such a concise, well thought out wedding day, with no wasted time. Before I tell you all about what may be my favorite wedding day timeline yet, we have to talk about the colors on this wedding day. If you've been considering a blush/navy/wine wedding theme, look no further for inspiration! I LOVED how Emma incorporated blush as the family color, and wine as the bridal party color, with navy on all the guys to tie it in. How perfect is this color pairing?

Now... if you love a non-traditional timeline, listen up! Emma + Nick had an intimate wedding. I have to tell you, I loved the way they chose to celebrate their day! Instead of a long, drawn out, all day wedding, they chose to celebrate with close family and friends at a luncheon right after their sealing in the Meridian temple. They all headed from the temple to the Two Rivers Clubhouse in Eagle, where they enjoyed a relaxed lunch, with the traditional dances and cake cutting. Instead of being on their feet until 10 pm, they spent quality time with people they loved. Such a great idea, and so intimate! If hours of dancing and chatting isn't your thing, this might be... I would highly encourage any of my couples who are on the fence about a traditional timeline to consider this route.

Courtney (@posiesfloraldesign) provided the most STUNNING arrangements throughout the reception center, as well as Emma's bouquet. I love working with Courtney because every wedding brings something new and different! Her arrangements are so tasteful and styled individually for the bride and groom. I love it every time! Look at this mantle piece-absolutely stunning!!
